Welcome to SunScentz. These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of SunScentz.com, including purchases of SunScentz skincare, body-care, hair-care, beard-care, fragrance, and related products.

Throughout these Terms, “SunScentz,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to SunScentz. “You” and “your” refer to the website visitor or customer.

By visiting our website, creating an account, or purchasing a product, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please do not use the website or place an order if you do not agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction to make a purchase from SunScentz.

A parent or legal guardian must supervise purchases made by a minor.

2. Product Information

We make reasonable efforts to provide accurate product descriptions, photographs, sizes, ingredients, prices, and availability.

Because many SunScentz products are handcrafted or produced in batches, slight variations may occur in:

  • Texture
  • Consistency
  • Fragrance strength
  • Product appearance

These natural variations do not necessarily indicate that a product is defective.

Colors displayed on your screen may also vary depending on your device and display settings.

3. Cosmetic and Personal-Care Use

SunScentz products are intended for cosmetic and personal-care purposes only. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate, or prevent any disease or medical condition.

Information provided on our website, social-media pages, packaging, product descriptions, or marketing materials is not medical advice and should not replace advice from a qualified healthcare professional.

Discontinue use and seek appropriate medical attention if you experience a serious or unexpected reaction.

4. Allergies and Skin Sensitivities

Customers are responsible for reviewing the complete ingredient list before purchasing or using a product.

Cosmetic products and fragrance ingredients can cause irritation or allergic reactions in some individuals. Before using a new topical product extensively, consider testing a small amount on a limited area of skin.

Do not use a SunScentz product if you know or suspect that you are allergic or sensitive to one of its ingredients.

Unless otherwise stated on the product label:

  • Do not apply to broken or severely irritated skin.
  • Keep products away from children and pets.
  • Do not ingest the products.

5. Orders

Submitting an order does not guarantee that it will be accepted.

We reserve the right to refuse, limit, or cancel an order for reasons including:

  • Pricing or listing errors
  • Suspected fraud
  • Unauthorized payment activity
  • Incorrect customer information
  • Unusually large quantities
  • Suspected resale activity

If we cancel an order after payment has been processed, we will issue an appropriate refund for the canceled portion.

6. Customer Information

You are responsible for reviewing your order before submitting it, including:

SunScentz is not responsible for delivery problems caused by an incorrect or incomplete address entered by the customer.

Additional shipping charges may apply when a package must be resent because of an address error, refusal, or failure to retrieve the package.

7. Prices, Payments and Taxes

All prices are listed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated.

Prices, promotions, product availability, and discounts may change without notice. Changes will not affect an order that has already been accepted unless a clear pricing or technical error occurred.

Applicable taxes, shipping costs, and other disclosed charges will be calculated during checkout.

You authorize SunScentz and its payment processors to charge your selected payment method for the full amount shown at checkout.

8. Promotions and Discount Codes

Promotional offers:

  • May be available for a limited time
  • Cannot be redeemed for cash
  • May be limited to one per order
  • May exclude certain products
  • Cannot usually be combined unless stated otherwise
  • May be canceled or modified when permitted by law

Discount codes must be entered before checkout is completed. Discounts generally cannot be applied retroactively to a completed order.

9. Complimentary Gifts and Samples

Samples, promotional gifts, and complimentary products are offered at SunScentz’s discretion and while supplies last.

Complimentary items:

  • Have no cash value
  • Cannot be exchanged
  • Cannot be returned for a refund
  • May differ from the customer’s preferred fragrance
  • May be substituted with another available item

10. Shipping and Delivery

Orders will be processed and shipped according to the timeframes displayed on our website or communicated during checkout.

Delivery dates are estimates and are not guaranteed. Delays may occur because of weather, carrier interruptions, holidays, high order volume, incorrect addresses, or circumstances outside our control.

When an online seller cannot ship within the stated period, federal rules may require the seller to provide notice, obtain consent to the delay when applicable, or offer cancellation and a prompt refund.

Ownership and risk of loss transfer as permitted by applicable law and the terms of the shipping carrier.

11. Warm-Weather Shipping

Body butters and other temperature-sensitive products may soften or melt during transit, especially during warm weather.

A softened or melted product is not automatically defective. Customers may allow the sealed product to return to room temperature or place it in a cool environment before opening.

However, customers should contact us within the period stated in our Refund and Return Policy if a product arrives leaking, damaged, contaminated, or unusable.

12. Returns, Refunds and Exchanges

All purchases are subject to the SunScentz Refund and Return Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms.

Because SunScentz sells personal-care products, opened, used, tested, or unsealed products are generally not eligible for return.

Customers must follow the reporting deadlines and documentation requirements stated in the Refund and Return Policy.

Georgia businesses may establish their own return policies, but a business must honor the policy it publishes.

13. Damaged, Missing or Incorrect Orders

Inspect your order promptly after delivery.

To report a damaged, leaking, missing, or incorrect product, contact us within the timeframe listed in our Refund and Return Policy. Include:

  • Your name
  • Order number
  • Description of the issue
  • Photographs of the product
  • Photographs of the packaging
  • Photograph of the shipping label

Submitting a request does not automatically guarantee a refund or replacement. Each request will be reviewed based on the available information.

14. Packages Marked Delivered

When tracking indicates that a package was delivered, customers should first check:

  • Around the delivery location
  • With household members
  • With neighbors
  • With the property office or mailroom
  • Directly with the carrier

SunScentz may assist with available carrier-claim procedures, but we cannot guarantee replacement or reimbursement for packages lost or stolen after confirmed delivery.

15. Product Availability

Products may be discontinued, reformulated, renamed, resized, or temporarily unavailable without notice.

We do not guarantee that every fragrance, size, formula, promotion, or complimentary sample will remain available.

16. Intellectual Property

All website content belonging to SunScentz is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. This includes:

  • Product names
  • Product descriptions
  • Labels
  • Packaging designs
  • Photographs

  • Website text
  • Graphics
  • Marketing materials
  • Original product formulations to the extent legally protectable

You may not copy, reproduce, modify, sell, distribute, publish, or commercially use SunScentz content without prior written permission.

17. Customer Reviews and Submitted Content

You may submit honest reviews, photographs, testimonials, comments, or other content when our website permits it.

You retain ownership of your original content. By submitting content directly to SunScentz or tagging SunScentz for promotional consideration, you grant us a nonexclusive, royalty-free license to display, reproduce, and share that content in connection with our business, subject to applicable law.

You may request that we stop using your content in future marketing by contacting us. This may not affect material already printed or previously published.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to prevent or penalize an honest consumer review. Federal law prohibits standardized contract terms that restrict honest reviews or impose penalties for posting them.

You may not submit content that is unlawful, threatening, fraudulent, defamatory, obscene, infringing, or intentionally misleading.

18. Prohibited Uses

You may not use the website:

21. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the website and products are provided on an “as available” basis.

SunScentz does not guarantee that:

  • The website will always operate without interruption
  • Every product will produce the same results for every person
  • Product color, fragrance, texture, or appearance will be identical between batches
  • Website information will always be free from typographical or technical errors

Nothing in these Terms excludes any warranty or consumer right that cannot legally be excluded.

22. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SunScentz will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages resulting from:

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, Refund and Return Policy, and any other policies displayed during checkout, form the agreement between you and SunScentz regarding your use of the website and purchases.
